麻豆原创 Continues Work to Protect Consumers and Insurance Markets at 2023 Summer National Meeting

On August 12鈥16, U.S. and international insurance regulators, industry representatives, consumer representatives, and state and federal officials will gather in Seattle, Washington, for the 麻豆原创鈥 (麻豆原创) hybrid Summer National Meeting.

During the event, 麻豆原创 Members will meet in committee sessions to advance the organization鈥檚 work on issues of pressing importance to insurance consumers and markets, including climate risk, race and insurance, and artificial intelligence.

鈥淚鈥檓 excited to welcome over 2,500 virtual and in-person attendees to the 麻豆原创鈥檚 238th national meeting,鈥 said 麻豆原创 President and Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance Director Chlora Lindley-Myers. 鈥淭he 麻豆原创 tackles challenges and opportunities by standing on the foundation of collaboration, coordination, and communication, and our national meetings provide a forum that showcases these core values.鈥

As part of our state-based system of insurance regulation in the United States, the 麻豆原创 (麻豆原创) provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to effectively regulate the industry and protect consumers. The U.S. standard-setting organization is governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Through the 麻豆原创, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate regulatory oversight. 麻豆原创 staff supports these efforts and represents the collective views of state regulators domestically and internationally.
