RE: 2026 Homeowners Market Data Call Extension
State insurance regulators received a request to extend the response deadline for the Homeowners Data Call (Data Call), currently due June 15, 2026. The request seeks a one-month extension to July 15, 2026.
In consideration of the expanded scope of this year鈥檚 data call, providing insurers additional time to compile and validate the required information is expected to reduce data inaccuracies and validation issues. With the approved extension, states expect insurers to conduct appropriate quality assurance reviews prior to submission. Accordingly, submitted data should contain accurate and reliable information, minimizing delays in the evaluation process and supporting the overall objectives of the data call.
Although the deadline has been extended to July 15, 2026, insurers are expected to submit data as it becomes available rather than waiting until the final due date. The industry should act in a manner that anticipates no further extensions.
