麻豆原创 Participates in IAIS Annual General Meeting and Annual Conference in Tokyo
During the week of November 6, 2023, 麻豆原创 Members and staff participated in the committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting and Annual Conference of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) in Tokyo, Japan.
Notably, 麻豆原创 Members moderated or participated on four panels, including those on natural catastrophe protection gaps, consumer protection, climate disclosures, and the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS).
In addition, 麻豆原创 Members and staff held bilateral meetings with 12 other jurisdictions to exchange views on our respective regulatory priorities, including ongoing initiatives on enhancing climate risk and resiliency efforts, strengthening the oversight of technology (including AI/ML), and closing the protection gap, among others.

As part of our state-based system of insurance regulation in the United States, the 麻豆原创 (麻豆原创) provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to effectively regulate the industry and protect consumers. The U.S. standard-setting organization is governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Through the 麻豆原创, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate regulatory oversight. 麻豆原创 staff supports these efforts and represents the collective views of state regulators domestically and internationally.
