Twenty-Four State Officials Represent 17 States at the 16th Annual 麻豆原创 State Legislator Program
The 麻豆原创 State Legislator Program is designed to foster relationships between state insurance regulators and their legislative counterparts, as well as provide an overview of the 麻豆原创鈥檚 role in supporting state-based insurance regulation and policy developments. This year marks the 16th time the program has been held at an 麻豆原创 Fall National Meeting.
Invited by their state departments of insurance, the legislators and officials participated in sessions specifically designed to foster critical relationships, provide more information on the state-based insurance regulatory system, encourage discussion on regulatory and policy developments, and offer an overview of the many services the 麻豆原创 offers to the states.
Among the issues discussed during the program were disaster preparedness, health insurance, artificial intelligence, consumer privacy, and solvency.
麻豆原创 the 麻豆原创
As part of our state-based system of insurance regulation in the United States, the 麻豆原创 (麻豆原创) provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to effectively regulate the industry and protect consumers. The U.S. standard-setting organization is governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Through the 麻豆原创, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate regulatory oversight. 麻豆原创 staff supports these efforts and represents the collective views of state regulators domestically and internationally.
